Before Anything Else, Read!

So, I started Second Life RPG which is a new site which will try to list and feature the many Roleplay and Combat sims in Second Life. Well, I may not be able to feature and list them all but I’ll definitely try.

Now, one of the feature of the site is the RPG Sims Directory. Clearly, just by the title of the section alone one will know that it’s a directory of RPG Sims in Second Life and if that’s not yet too obvious the description says “A comprehensive directory of RPG sims in Second Life.” Remember, the keyword here is SIMS. The New Empire of France

It seems that [RPG Empire] decided to make the [Empire of France] sim into a Roleplay/Combat sim again. You see, a few weeks before, the Empire of France sim was changed into an open kind of sim that does not involve RP nor Combat. This happened when the people who were assigned to it left RPG Empire. Fortunately, the Empire of France sim is back and it is once again a Roleplay and Combat sim.

RPG Empires and Lively

mikeD Streeter of RPG Empires and Animate Me gave me a link to his room in Lively. You see, Lively is Google’s entry to the virtual world arena. Well, it’s not really a virtual world because it’s more like a virtual living space or virtual room where you can invite your friends to hang-out and chat. I haven’t tried it that much and I’ve only been into RPG Empires Room but there are already hundreds of user created rooms which you can join. See my screenies of RPG Empires Lively Room.

Play FFVII Instead!

I’m still having problems with Second Life and because of that I am not able to do my regular Second Life routine like exploring and looking for camping spots. Not only that, I plan to create a lot of Christmas Cards but can’t because Second Life won’t let me. Second Life still freezes on me. In fact, I have to use another computer just to give away the prizes.

Well, since I can’t login to Second Life without freezing, I played another game instead and that game is Final Fantasy VII for the PlayStation. I won’t be earning linden dollars from this game but at least I’ll have some good old fun. LOL!

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to save my game. Now, I’ll have to repeat everything again. Darn!

I think Linden Labs should stabilize the regular or the standard viewer first than spending too much time hyping their Windlight First Look Viewer where not everyone will be able to enjoy because not everyone has a cutting edge gaming machine. Yeah, Windlight looks great but can your machine handle it without spending $$$ upgrading it?

Also, it is nice to have something to pass your time while Second Life is down or when it’s under maintenance. I might even re-install Rakion Online. I have WarRock installed and it’s a Counter-Strike wannabe. The graphics are good but still Counter-Strike is better.

For the time being, I’ll stick with Final Fantasy VII.
