Today Linden Labs released the latest version of their viewer for Second Life and, that’s not all, they also launched their newest continent, Zindra. Zindra is an Adult rated continent accessible to those residents who age verified their Second Life accounts. If your account is not Age Verified as an adult then you won’t be able to visit Zindra.

Yesterday, I was treated to a very RARE sighting (and NO, I’m not talking about UFO sighting, LOL) in Second Life. I was at sionLabs checking out the sionChicken vendors when a figure named Matthew Linden appeared infront of me. At first I thought I was just seeing things but after zooming in and checking him out better I confirmed that he was indeed a Linden.

It was the second time I’ve seen a Linden in Second Life. The first Linden I saw (and even met) was Harmony Linden. OMG! Just a few minutes ago I received an IM (instant message) from Nettle Blackthorne. She is the Estate Owner of the sim I purchased/rented land on. She said that she will evict me because the shouting is disturbing her other tenants and, in an instant,  all my objects were returned to me.

I spent a moment to think what could be doing all the shouting that’s when I realized that the contest board was running and it was the one doing the shouting. OMG! It wasn’t really a big problem because turning off the board announcement was just one or two clicks away but, unfortunately, I never got the time to turn it off. Why was it turn on in the first place? It’s the contest board’s default setting and because the area was big the announcement must reach a wide area to inform those participants who may be a little far away from it. Someone comment spammed something about vLife with a link to where to download it. According to the spam comment vLife is a Second Life viewer with the following features:

• Client and sim crash
• Double click teleport
• Double click copy
• Hand rainbow particle beam
• Area scanner
• Animation list scan and copy
• Teleport history
• Phantom
• Teleport to any avatar everywhere
