Second Life Bots or simply SLBots

Bots in Second Life are third party programs used to access the server to perform and automate various tasks like camping, group joining, greeting and even copying/cloning. They are based on LibSecondLife’s code, which is Open Source, and are very lightweight since they’re text only. Unlike, those bots found in mmorpgs and other online games, bots in Second Life are allowed by Linden Labs.

Bots have many useful uses but they also have some not so good use like copying other people’s objects and textures. In this post I will list all the Second Life Bots that I know and provide a little info about them. (more…)

1A Bot Cost 12,000L$ o_O

“Oh my!”, was the reaction I gave myself when I found out how much 1A Bot cost. All the while I thought Thoys SL Bot was already expensive at 2,000L$ but now, compared to 1A Bot, it’s very cheap.

I first found out about the cost of 1A Bot from another resident who inquired about Thoys SL Bot. According to this resident, he was very disappointed with 1A Bot because he was having trouble camping with it and he wanted to know if Thoys SL Bot was much easier to use. Second Messenger is a light weight client for Second Life. It is light weight because, just SLeek, it does not have all the eye candy and features found in a regular Second Life client or viewer.

As the name implies, Second Messenger allows you to login into Second Life servers and perform various tasks like chatting with friends and instant messaging, teleporting and other things but the most common use of such programs like this one is bot camping. (more…)
