I first registered with Metaverse Exchange last April 18, 2009 but only started listing my items last September 13, 2009. Since then I have only sold 2 items and both of these items are for FREE and because they were FREE these two sales don’t count. Yesterday, I have made my first REAL sale with Metaverse Exchange. A resident bought a copy of my Merry Christmas Shirts for 124L$. Deducting Metaverse Exchange’s commission of 5% per sale, I received a net of 118L$. Woohoo!
A few days ago, I also made my first sale with SLOpenMarket. I registered with SLOpenMarket a week or two ago and listed one item. Just a few days ago, this item got sold already which motivated me to list more items. Currently, I have 8 items listed in SLOpenMarket and these are all Christmas related items (Christmas Shirts and Christmas Themed Custom Fishing Rods). (more…)

One popular way of building an online community is by setting up a forum. Forums allow members to communicate with each other and share ideas and opinions about various issues. One forum which I am a member of is under slapt.me. Slapt.me is an alternative online marketplace for Second Life where merchants in Second Life can list there items for sale for FREE. In their forum, merchants are also allowed to post or announce their newly listed items in the forums Second Life Classifieds under New Products.
Yesterday, I finished creating 4 sets of Christmas Shirts. Each set has a different design and comes in 3 colors. Take note, each set comes in 3 colors ONLY. I listed them in XstreetSL.com, metaLIFE, Metaverse Exchange and slapt.me. After listing I posted an announcement for them in metaLIFE, Metaverse Exchange and slapt.me’s forum. Christmas is just around the corner and that is why I created a few Christmas Shirts in Second Life. Shirts are very common in Second Life but I think residents still like them since hundreds of shirts are being created and sold everyday in-world and off-world through online marketplaces like metaLIFE, Apez.biz, Metaverse Exchange and others.
The few Christmas Shirts I created are available in different colors and have different designs. I personally like the red colored Santa Claus shirt and it is the one I’m currently wearing in-world. For my group members, I’ve sent them a black colored Santa Claus shirt via Group Notice. I just hope they like it. ^_^ (more…)

You’ll notice that my avatar is always wearing the same attire in some, if not most, of my screenshots. That’s because fashion and style are not really my thing, even in real life. For me, I don’t need to wear expensive or branded or fashionable things to look good. You know why? Because I am already good looking! LOL!

A few weeks back I created this shirt, a 3 Stars and a Sun ((3 Stars and a Sun was derived from my country’s, Philippines, flag)) Shirt. This shirt was supposed to be given away to visitors of 3 Stars and a Sun but I totally forgot about it. I just came across these snapshots today while browsing through my snapshots folder. (more…)
