Correct me if I’m wrong but I personally believe that shopping is one of the more popular activities in Second Life. I always encounter people talking about shopping for new hair, new skin, new shoes, new clothes, new homes and other items. Like in one occasion, I met a few people at my place and we had a little chat when suddenly one of them asked the other for a landmark to an avatar shop. Afterwards they all left and went shopping for demo hairs.

Let's Go Shopping
Well, I do a little shopping myself but most of the time I do my shopping for Second Life items online through SLExchange and sometimes in Shop.OnRez. I’ve seen Wrestling Rings, Boxing Rings, Ancient Coliseums, Combat Arenas, Basketball Courts, and other sporting locations but this time I took a quick look at IBM’s Winbledon Tennis Court in Second Life.

In fact, you can even be one of the dummies but right-clicking on one of them and then selecting Sit. Your avatar will then replace the dummy. Unfortunately, you can’t actually control what’s happening. You’ll just be a replacement for the dummy. LOL! (more…)

An avatar named John Trihey sent me a message about his new mall called JB’s Super Mall which is located at the Hodu region in Second Life. If I remember it correctly, he sent me a message about a camping location before. Anyway, today I went to his mall to check it out.
The mall isn’t that very big. In fact, it is only 1 level and consists of shop spaces. Below are some data which I have gathered about the mall: (more…)
