Last week I received a notecard from mikeD Streeter of The Roman Empire, The Spartan Empire, Animate Me Poseballs, Action Animations and others that he is now taking back the land he gave me on his Animate Me Poseballs region. I immediately complied with his wishes and took all my stuff off the land. Luckily, I was able to rent a 1024 sqm. parcel in Dundrum weeks before my eviction from the Animate Me Poseballs region.

Dock on the Moon
I would like to thank mikeD Streeter for letting me live on his Animate Me Poseball region for FREE! I guess now I have to pay for my place. LOL! (more…)

A few days ago, the Empress of Rome sent a notice throughout the empire inviting both Romans and Non-Romans to participate in a Poster/Photo Contest. The winner of the contest will receive 5,000L$ and the runner-up will get 1,000L$. The theme of the photos to be used or entered in the contest must be related to Rome. I wanted to enter the contest but, unfortunately, I was busy with my real life work and had no time to prepare or even login to Second Life.

Nope! This is not an entry. The entries are those behind my avatar! LOL!
Submission of entries are now close and the poster/photos are now on display near the Colosseum. The winner will be decided by voting for your favorite poster/photo entries. To vote for your favorite poster/photo entries you must pay it at least 20L$. I don’t think there is a limit to the number of votes you can cast. My guess is, if you have the money to burn then you can vote and vote and vote for your favorite or favorites. (more…)

A few days ago I had a chance to visit the City of Rome and I didn’t go to Italy to get there. LOL! The City of Rome is a new region under RPG Empire and it is connected to [The Roman Empire] region. If the information I got are correct then the City of Rome was once called Medevil England (Medieval England). I guess the Romans have finally conquered it for good and made it their own.

The Emperor of The Roman Empire
The entrance to the City of Rome clearly states that the region is strictly Role Play only. I don’t know how strict will this rule be enforced (coz’ I see a lot of Romans speak in OOC all the time) but as a visitor to the City of Rome and [The Roman Empire] it is best to follow the rules to avoid problems discomfort and drama! Gandy Kidd of [The Roman Empire] sent out a notice for a “Defend the Hill Top” tournament. It sounded really cool, right? Of course it is, unfortunately, it was just a Free For All tournament with an obstacle in the center of the arena floor. Actually, if you remove the pyramid like hill then it’ll just be an ordinary Free For All tournament because the hill has no real purpose. The only thing that was different was that a few fighters will start fighting on top of the hill while the others fight on the arena floor. Why not just let everyone fight on the floor?

Defend the Hill Top
The way I see a “Defend the Hill Top” tournament is like this. All fighters will start on the arena floor. When the command to fight is given, they will all run and climb up the hill while fighting there way up. Once they are up there, they will have to fight off all the other fighters who are climbing up and trying to get up there as well. In other words, the fighters or fighter who gets up there first will have to “Defend the Hill Top”, for a set amount of time, to win. The amount of time he needs to stay on top can be 30 seconds to a minute or to whatever the tournament master wants it to be. (more…)

A few days before Valentines Day the Empress of Rome asked me for a couple of *KK* Rod of Red Roses. According to her she’ll be giving them away as prizes in a Couples Valentines Day Tournament and this event was held in the Colosseum. I didn’t give her the rod she requested, instead I gave her all three of my Valentines Day Fishing Rods (*KK* Rod of Red Roses, *KK* Rod of Hearts and *KK* I Love You Rod). The request was a mystery to me because, as far as I know, there are no fishing areas anywhere in [The Roman Empire]. Mystery or not, I was more than happy to grant her request.

The Emperor editing his appearance with the Empress behind him!
I went to the event after attending a Jousting Class in [Medieval England]. The class was conducted by Gunner Slade and it wasn’t a class but more of a practice session. I went there expecting to learn some new tricks or even tips on how to win Jousting Tournaments but, unfortunately, there were none. I left 45 minutes later and went to [The Roman Empire] to witness the Couples Valentines Day Tournament. (more…)
